Google Maps - How ERASE "Manage Your Places" Location Settings??!

Hello...

I have an original HTC EVO 4G (rooted running MikG ROM) using Google Maps 6.14.1 and have a VERY annoying problem with the following setting:

Bumping this up....VERY FRUSTRATING!! I've had an update or 2 of Google Maps and STILL cannot figure out how to erase/fix the above.

Any thoughts??

If you have a PC nearby, all the edit and delete options are there. Once changed on a PC they will propagate to your phone.

edit: Just tried it on my Nexus 7, and same edit and delete options are there. I changed my home address on my PC and the change showed up on my phone (after a few minutes)

THANKS for trying it out as I noticed in the edit above...VERY MUCH appreciated!! However, was wondering where you have done so on the PC?? I obviously tried a bunch of places on the phone and thought I looked and tried on my computer as well but unsuccessfully. I've had a situation where "Home" address in "My Places" on my phone was correct but the home location specifically in that "Manage My Places" area in the phones settings was not changing, even with waiting for the data to propagate.

Where in your Maps on your PC are you changing your info so that the "Manage Your Places" area of the phone is changed??

Sorry...I'm rarely this ignorant/illiterate but having trouble (obviously!)...THANK YOU!!

https://maps.google.com/ should go to your maps page if you're logged into Gmail. There's a My Places at upper left. The little down arrows give you edit or delete options.

Thanks for the specific link and information. I was able to change the locations there with the edit/delete options as you indicated. You can also go online and visit your Google Maps Dashboard to see stats and edit your home/work location.

My continued inquiry, however, was based upon the fact that I had actually been able to do your above instructions in the past, however, your suggestions do not solve the problem I asked in my OP.

In my OP above, I said:

I have two locations there…I recognize the addresses and have been to those places but don't know why there are saved here. The header says "Tap on a place to change its settings" and when I do so, the only options are checkboxes to "Automatically check in here" and to "Remind me to check in here"

I want to TOTALLY ERASE THESE LOCATIONS, however, there is NO OPTION to do so!! One of the locations is marked as "Home" and it is NOT MY HOME ADDRESS!!

If you go to the settings location that I map out above...Google Maps Menu —> Settings —> Location Settings —> Manage your places (at the bottom under "Check-Ins")...you see these "Manage your places" THESE are the locations that I want to erase. No matter what I edit or delete as my Home or Work location, these locations I cannot seem to get rid of...no long press, no menu, no other option on the phone. And I cannot seem to find on the computer where these locations appear. I thought I should be able to remove them from my phone or history online but cannot seem to do so.

So, anyone with an idea to remove the items in the "Manage Your Places" area of the settings that I direct to above?? Any way to view these locations online...??...I cannot seem to find them online!!
