Hiya

trying to flog my HTC Desire HD. Website gives two ways to do a factory reset - either go to Privacy and choose Factory Reset option (there isn't one) or keep vol down button pressed while turning on (phone simply switches on normally). Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks!
Norbert

Follow the steps:
1. Shut down your device.
2. Hold on Vol+ button and Power button together.
3. Using Vol-/vol+ buttons, select 'clear and wipe data' , press power button to enter.
4. After the data is wiped completely, Select "Reboot the device now" !

It is just simple as it is.

- All shit out here tells you to use vol down button. But use Volume up button, instead.

- This can be the only solution if your device is locked after repeated wrong patterns more than five times.

- When the device cannot be connected to internet or wifi.

- If you forgot the google email id or password with which you used the device.

Now Go...!!!
Thank me later with a reply here.
