Help Connect or esteem?

I've got a motion (witch I love) but I'm in flash withdrawals. Anyone wanna suggest witch one of these I should pickup as a extra/backup. Thanks in advance.

honestly.. the only advantage to the esteem is a slightly larger screen, internal 4g sd and an hdmi port, besides that go with the connect dur to it being dual proccessor and more ram etc.. newer phone.. you basically have the same support team as the esteem anyway

for aa 100 dollars more you should get the s3, it is much much better in everything and if we talk about battery.... connect sucks so much. i've changed to s3 and really happy.

I'm going to be in the same boat with you.... I'm planning on getting the Motion for Christmas, and I really would die if I couldn't flash anything.....thinking about Connect though...

Since I flashed zva to my connect, I haven't had battery issues and I never bought a ext life battery.

Don't buy a Connect. Battery life sucks BALLS even with a 3850 mAh battery, HD games/lots of apps have issues, slow, heavy, ugly, no DEV support/ROMS or love here on AF. I rooted mine, updated to ZVA (solved battery/overheat) and yet I still hate it. Well worth the $149 it has been reduced to but not worth the headaches that come with it.

I have a Motion 4G, it leaves my Connect in the dirt on 4G and Wi-Fi, no issues, great stock battery life and never a hiccup. Hell, my old Optimus M surfs the web better than my Connect. Only thing about Motion that I don't like is the low pixel density and a 380x420 rez. Can't mock the Esteem; never had one but that may change since it has way more ROMS than Connect, and despite being weaker in specs than Connect it probably runs much better.

I have considered trading it for an Esteem Any takers?

I guess it depends on who you are lmao!! because I dnt have any of the issues of the last poster, besides only having 1-2 devs for this phone I'm happy with it. I don't have any problems with overheating, no issues what so ever playing/streaming videos, as far as battery life goes of course that depends on the user but most phones can improve battery life just check any thread on here and you'll see almost all of them have a person complaining about battery issues lol!! Now as far as games go, I don't play any at all on my Connect so I'm not sure about that. I love modding my phone so yeah I wish more devs gave this phone some attention
