Hardware/connection for bulk SMS gateway

I need the infrastructure to send and receive bulk SMS messages to put it simply. It would be nice to take payments over SMS but I can honestly say, my Google-fu is failing me.

This would be in addition to an already existing IP network in a high tier collocation facility.


What would I need or what should I be looking at to set this up? What are the costs associated with this? Hoping someone on here is experienced in this field.
