Hi, though it does the same but its not this what i was looking for, what i was looking for, when 1st got the device and whenever i open the snote and i click make a new note there was a message come showing some features, then you say ok then the note starts, by mistake i hit dont show this again, and really was wondering how to get it back and now i even thinking about all the other help promotes if we hit dont show again, is it possible to bring them to be shown again.

I understand what you wanted but it's the same thing. Wouldn't you rather know it's there then think it's nowhere to be found. Just trying to help.

Hey thank you so much,sure i understand you 2 well.
Have said before,i really dont need this for now,nd what you showed before,is just doing the same thing.
Guess it want come back,unless factory reset,which am not up to it now.
Am really happy to be member in this forum,also happy to see people welling to help.

Some issues I have. Please folks help me.

Issue 1: Suddenly goggle latitude icon is missing from my app screen. Where did it go? How to get it back?

Issue 2: All the programs i download brings an icon both on the app screen and home screen, after i changed something. I don't want this happening.
How do i make it not automatically show up on the home screen?

Issue 3: Can't I view web pages with flash video? Its says not supported. Any work around options?

Issue 4: How do I turn of the music player? exiting screen still puts an icon on the top

Issue 5: Which is the best protective case- I like the Flip wallet stand type and Seidio surface with kickstand

Issue 6: How do I change icon images?

Issue 7: How do I password protect folders?

Issue 8: Ho do I make the app download request for my password before it downloads any new software. (Like in Iphone)

Issue 9: See a faint red glow from the indicator light. What does that mean? Battery low ?

Hi there will answer some of yohr issues and am looking for the others
Issue 3: I think you shold visit adobe site and direct download the adobe flash player then u will be able to get it running.
Issue 4: open the music player then hit the menu bottom on the left side and scroll down you will get end hit it and it will close the programme

Will try to check the others nd let u know.

For number 2, if you're talking about apps you downloaded from the play store, go into the play store's settings & uncheck the "auto add widgets" box. This will stop this behavior.

Quick question guys, is there a way to set desktop view as default in either the stock browser or Chrome? I know you can select desktop view in the settings menu when you're on a webpage but can you select it as default anywhere so you don't have to do it everytime? I can't find the option to do that anywhere.

I don't think there is. I've been searching for that option as well. I don't mind clicking the toggle for each new website (it seems to remember the option to go to desktop site, if it's one that you visit often), but this is one thing that I actually loved about Dolphin browser before. I think that's the only thing that I really like Dolphin over chrome for.

Settings>Wi-fi>Menu>Advanced>Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep>Change to Always

I don't know if this will necessarily help though. Did you try re-setting your router (just pull power and leave disconnected for 30 seconds and plug back in)?

Press & hold home button to bring up running apps ---> tap Task manager on bottom left ---> select RAM on top ---> tap Clear memory button

I came across a great tip last night while watching the Rearth Case Video by contributing writer Chris Chavez that was so obviously cool and subtle that I thought to myself.....dang.....why didn't I think of that.


At 3:46 mark he takes the back cover off his phone and uses the case as the cover instead. This is great for those who often switch out batteries and worry about damaging the battery cover. I'm using Samsung's OEM Hardshell whose back has the exact feel as the cover and fits snug enough that I can use it without the battery door attached.

If you're still having this problem, try enabling mac address filtering on your router. You will have to google the model # of the router and "mac address filter" and should be able to find a tutorial, turn it on, then add the mac addresses of the phones to the "allowed" list. In the past, this has worked every time when I've had devices unable to stay connected. Note, you will have to also add the mac address from any other wireless device in order for them to continue to connect as well.
