Root WHY is their This will Brick Your Phone ROM in ROM MANAGER?????????

Under Ultimate Droid in ROM manager there is a ROM that says DO NOT INSTALL will brick your phone. Is he Serious?????

I happen to love Ultimate Droid, and there's quite the following another well known droid forum. It's optimized my Droid more than any other ROM that I've tried. There's as much risk w/ that ROM as any other. But w/ ROM Manager, and the Ultimate Droid Customizer (which is on ROM Manager Premium), that risk is minimal.

I'm sorry but all UD is, is stuff stolen from other ROMs, integrated into his then released as UD's own work. All those command line scripts he has, those were written by Pete, nothing he does is original apart from his horrid theme.

He copies his changelog from Pete, too. Once I saw the changelog mentioning something about how to upgrade from version 0.7... there was no 0.7 of UD but there definitely was a Bugless Beast 0.7.

Can you at least bother to check that what you're stealing isn't obviously specific to the ROM you stole it from?

if i had to choose between unrooted 2.0.1 and a UD rom i would go stock just based on principle. i hate when people pass others hard work off as there own.

I will then package and distribute this as shadowdude777's Super-Special-Awesome-Ubersox ROM v1.0. And every time Google Earth gets an update, I'm going to update my ROM and ask for more donations.

I still enjoy my UD rom more than my BB. Would I donate to the guy? Nah. But the rom I'm using has the best fit for me so far. I follow Pete on twitter and hope that he releases one eventually that really suits me.

I downloaded that rom last night before it said do not install. I actually had it working except i couldnt log into my google acc. All is well though. Restored to my backup.
