Help What's fixed/new in I7500XXIH8

So after a couple of days with the new firmware I can definitely say the battery life is better.

Scenario 1:
- 3G on
- Background data on
- Auto sync on
- WiFi on and off at various times
- 10 to 15 mins calls
- Sent a couple of sms messages
- Regular email checking (when notified)
- 2 hours of listening to music
- 10 to 15 mins of playing Retro defense (great game)

Scenario 1 was over 12 hours and battery went from 100% to 71%.

Scenario 2:
- 3G on
- Background data on
- Auto sync on
- WiFi on
- Left phone overnight

Scenario 2 was over 8 hours and battery went from 84% to 79%.
Previously when I left my phone on overnight it would always be dead by the morning.

Thanks for testing that. Definitely going for H8 now!

I just updated my phone form original firmware to this via NPS. Can't confirm the battery life yet, but it is defianetly much smoother to use (yeah, it was smooth before, but this takes it even further).

One thing though, I cant find eBuddy from market, what about u guys? It was better than nimbuzz so would like to have it back.

Does anyone have the apk for it?

I got ebuddy from getjar.com since it did not appear in the market.

ok guys i updated my phone over odin to IH8 and i don't think i see any progress. when i went to sleep which was 9 hours ago my battery was on 64% and now is on 25%. and since last unplugged my phone was running 14h.39'(98%), and screen was on for 1h and 12'(8%). where did that 2% went from phone running and is it possible that only one hour of usage spent battery so quick. 9 hours of "standby" droped battery for 40 %. it's crazy, and i turned of whatever i could. do you have the same problem

 think you might have other issues going on there.
i flashed mine yesterday. used it without a usb connection for about an hour messing about and browsing using wifi (found a bug on my phone that doesnt like wifi channel 8 so it keeps dropping out. it did this before the h8 update though)
i was also playing music through the speaker testing out some audio apps.
battery life only went down about 5%
ive left it over night with screen off and wifi/auto sync off and came back this morning to find i still have 75% battery left

does anyone else have a problem not being able to add an APN (for mms/gprs)? I add it, type in everything and click save, but then it returns me back to the screen where you enter APN settings, and when I go into APNs, the list is empty (my added APN is not there)...
I did a factory reset, but it did not help.

EDIT: I don't know why, but the phone reset and after that I could add the APN... No idea what happened.

I had this problem when I did the H7 upgrade and it turned out that the upgrade hadn't actually been done successfully. You may need to upgrade again.

I am sure that a lot of things have been fixed in the H8 version, however, I have experienced that when I am talking to someone on the phone they have a hard time hearing me.
I am not sure if it is the connection, which is worse now or if it is the microphone that is switching on/off at times.

Have anyone else experienced the same problem or is it just my phone, which is going crazy at times?? : )
