Anybody willing to guinea pig? I'm so tempted, but with the holidays coming up, I need to calm down on the accessories purchasing:

Amazon.com: OEM Palm Touchstone Wireless Charge Dock+Grey Battery Door+Car Charger for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100: Electronics

Amazon.com: OEM Palm Touchstone Wireless Charge Dock+White Battery Door+Car Charger for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100: Electronics

Thing is, I have the International Note 2 that I could so try this on, but just so hesitant to spend that much.

Try it. You can always return it if it doesn't work.

LOL!!! To be honest, if I hadn't already gotten an extra battery I'd consider this. I probably would be that guinea pig since there's not one review about it on Amazon.

Yeah, I'm kinda in the same boat. I already have the 2 battery kits I purchased from Samsung. And since my International phone sits in airplane mode, on standby most of the day and mainly gets used in the car, I've only had to swap out the battery on the weekend, but that thing lasts a long time just sitting in standby/airplane mode.

My car charger became irrelevant all of a sudden with 2 extra batteries accessible at all times, coupled with them all being 3100mah. I've never been this unafraid to use the phone as much as I needed, for fear that I wouldn't have a phone to use in the event of an emergency. This phone has seriously exceeded my expectations.

Too bad the details on his setup aren't available anymore, but that is pretty awesome. Although, I imagine that his touchstone setup involved magnets of some sort (to hold the phone in place...like that other car mount that someone had posted as a car mount option), which wouldn't be an option for me.

Wouldn't that work if you glued the Touchstone charging unit to the back of a holster?

Thank man. Is it just me or does the setup look a little strange? I tend to prefer the square mat setup.

It's just you...LOL. That's just what Palm came up with for the Palm Pre (and I think the Palm Pixi). I have no clue why it's not flat or whatever, but it is what it is. This is different than Powermat. From a brief search, they use different RFID to charge wirelessly.

I'm so hesitant on a case just yet...I mean I really would like even just a jelly one (since I use the car mount that puts a metal disc on the back, and without a case it will pull off the battery door when you pull it off the mount lol) but I want to see how my battery life on LTE is...if it sucks I'll have to get a Seidio battery and then I'm stuck basically with one case from them that will fit.

Just switched to HTC DNA with integrated wireless charging. I purchased the Nokia Wireless charger and works fine so far.

Does anyone know of an angled charging station which uses the Wireless charging instead of having to dock it? I would like to have it sitting upright while charging. Not sure if the Palm one would be sufficient.
