Ordered a 32GB 3G Nexus 7 and got an 8GB one!

Directly from Google Play!

It was shipped, I assume, from Ireland to the UK.

It is definitely an 8GB one - what it weird is that the person I spoke to said I had got an 8GB device, before me telling him - not sure if he had had other calls.

Bit worrying is that they email they sent to replace it said the device would be checked under warranty to see if it was faulty! Bit of a cheek.

I thought it was a bit odd as I couldn't see a hole for the sim card - and then when I checked storage it said I had just over 5GB spare - not right after installing a few apps. Oh and the invoice said it was brown and it looks very black to me.

Sadly they have also now put a hold on my credit card for another device - not sure why as they item I have here is not worth the same amount.

As I said to the person, this might have been a gift for Christmas - if it was then a) the person receiving it might not have said anything and b) I would have been well outside the 15 days - of course I still have the credit card to fall back to as they are jointly liable with Google.

The odd thing is the serial numbers seem to all tally. But unless my eyesight is duff, I can't see a sim slot or see the 32gb storage anywhere.
