Hello

I never had Pantech before but I called their tech support and they very friendly so that is a good sign and I asked them if the cell is still under warranty and needs repair do I send the phone back and one of the tech says that you can go to the ATT store and exchange for the same phone 1 time only so you don't have to wait for another phone. If the second time it has a problem then send to Pantech.

Different manufactures has different warranty polices. For the "Discover" phone they said Jelly Bean is coming for the phone but didn't release the date for it.

Hi Forddna,

Yes that is a GREAT phone because PCMAG gave them 4 out of 5 stars and CNET gave a 8 rating out of 10. Go to other website to review about the Pantech Discover and you will see for yourself. Yeah don't every buy a Samsung because Samsung is sick. There customer service is HORRIBLE. I have a forum of what I went through with Samsung and you can read my rant here http://androidforums.com/samsung-ga...ung-prevail-headache-repair-problems-ugh.html

About the RANDOM Boots it is COMMON TROUBLE with Samsung devices because I had the Samsung A640 in 2006 and now currently the Prevail and it still does random reboots even Samsung sent me REFURB unit. Samsung just advertises how great, good their phone is compared with Apple but in reality do they advertise how their customer service/technical support is??? NO!. But people keep on buying Samsung anyway and say how great their phone is etc but I guess they never encounter their customer service at all. For I the customer service is what gets too me. If you have GOOD customer service then you will have my service if NOT then good bye. Customer service really matter to me the most.
