After nearly 4 hours of trying my order for a 16gb N4 went thru. I was in shock. It says 2-3 weeks shipping. Hope it is worth all the effort.

Same result for me too. Too bad google just buried their heads in the sand on the 13th instead of just keeping on taking orders like today. 2 or 3 weeks is no sweat for me. Probably will have more roms & easier rooting methods by then anyway :thumbup:

I bought a 16 GB as well. I have the EVO LTE and I like it a lot, but I would love to get off of CDMA and T-Mo is a lot cheaper than Sprint.

Also I really want to support Google in this, to try and move the industry away from carrier-subsidized phones. If Google is willing to eat some of the cost of the phone in exchange for ad revenue, then that means cheaper phones for me without carrier restrictions, and that's a world I'd like to live in. If the Nexus 4 takes off, then maybe we'll see other manufacturers follow this strategy.

But now I have to wonder if I should go with the prepaid route for $30 with 5 GB of high speed data, unlimited texts and 100 minutes, or go with their value plan for $54.99 which has 500 minutes and unlimited high speed data (no texts but I use Google Voice so I get free unlimited texts anyway). Decisions, decisions...

That worked. I've been trying all day and had 2 16gb in my cart but it wouldn't process. Finally, 2-3 weeks I'll have my phones ....

I'm going with the $30 plan because 1. I rarely call 2. It's cheaper than VM 3. I have a t mobile store around the corner 4. I like to see how far this monthly 4g goes so people can catch onto prepaid

From what I understand, the throttled speeds on the $30 tmobile plan after 5gb are still faster than my normal speeds before throttling on vm. Sounds like a winner to me.

I believe that, Sprint 3g is way faster than VM 3g @ 77kbps down (yes kbps) on average for me. Sometimes im lucky & get 1mbps down (in the middle of the night). 5gb is my usual monthly usage so I will be happy.

Took me a few hours of ordering the 16gb today.

So after looking around with my GF (I have a SG II AT&T) and since she really likes using my phone I decided to get the N4 (I use to own a N1 and I miss the free tethering) and probably I will use the N4 while she gets my SG II and go with the family plan (in the future for her daughter and son I can add later).

VM runs on Sprint's network, but Sprint contract users get priority over pre-paid. If the tower is busy it will throttle all VM users so Sprint users get better speeds. Sprint also allows for roaming on Verizon's towers, but VM does not. VM is like the unwanted stepchild of Sprint and gets treated like dirt. That was one of the major reasons i'm switching to T-Mobile.

Tmobile Edge is Godly slow! After the 5GB cap that's what prepaid users will be throttled down to.

I believe the only way to stay on tmobile's unlimited data plan is to sign a contract, however it's a separate fee to use they're data as a Mobile hotspot while using unlimited data...there's got to be a catch somewhere when the term unlimited is thrown around.

Yup, same here. I currently have VM (ordered a T-Mobile SIM and Nexus 4 yesterday) and the data speed is terrible. My girlfriend has Sprint, and her 3G is superior to my 3G every time. Speedtest typically shows me around 200-400 kbps, which is basically turbo-charged dial-up speed. Unless it's late at night, or occasionally the weekend, doing anything but very light web browsing is painfully slow.
