Root Samsung Transform ultra All in one Root Mod Guide.

Actually, we've had an OC kernel since 6.0.2, I believe, thanks to Bloodawn's hard work, particularly on CTMod. He was generous enough to allow Chev and Mav include it after a few of us succesfully tested his kernel on whichever build of Megatron came before the kernel got implemented.

That's still true, but no word yet on when the TU community will see it, or what ROM it will be implemented in first, Megatron or CM7. Most of the hold-up has been Mav's own schedule; that pesky thing called "work" and its brother "real life" sure eat a lot of time, eh? ;)

Well whatever xaelith...no thanks for correction forgot abouy that... work does suck abouy to get killed at work for next month or so

you would need to restore your stock ROM with it being Rooted install an app called Titanium backup pro(its free). or any other application backup app.
once the apps are backed up, restore the new Rom, be sure "just to be safe"
boot into recovery and wipe dalvik cache and cache, it will ensure the old ROM aspects wont clash with the new ROM if you didn't care for app data you could restore them without data, but again that's just another way to ensure the old won't mess with the new
and yes im rambling now ha ha another way to get your apps back is to ensure google will restore them once you sign into your Gmail on the device.
it SHOULD begin installing all your old apps by default.

none of this guide works at all, stay away:mad::mad::mad::mad:

now, why would you say such a mean thing D:

the guide DOES work, several other users have used it and the staff have looked over it

may i ask what caused you to say this? i can possibly correct the issue.

Indeed! What caused you to say such a thing? You might of not followed the instructions correctly.

My Transform has been running VERY slowly at times. It started around the time I rooted it and was wondering if there might be a connection. I have reboot app and a hot reboot seems to restore the thing for a day or so, then it gets all sludgy again.

I have never had a linux PC that behaved this way. It's like a cache is getting clogged up or confused...

thanks for any suggestions...new to rooting in general...
