Can't tell you at the moment, the phone rang and now won't stop ringing!Whats your CID?

Shaun
Anyone else checking for updates like hell now lol
Ha, ha. If only I didn't use it for business ...I think you need to put it down nicely and go for a walk lol It's cold outside as your in the UK so shouldn't take long to clear your head of these phone breaking thoughts...
I guess I'll just wait for the battery to go flat (with fingers in ears)!I think you need to put it down nicely and go for a walk lol It's cold outside as your in the UK so shouldn't take long to clear your head of these phone breaking thoughts...
That's what I thought, but NOTHING stops it! Only 4% battery left, thank God!Hold the power button down for 10 seconds, that simulates a battery pull and works in all circumstances.
As EarlyMon has suggested in the other thread, I think you're best backing up what you can, then going for a factory reset.
Dunno, I can only remember it being recently updated to 4.0.4.What was your software version before you updated? Did it have 707 in it before? UK should be x.xx.401.x
That's unbranded software, but meant for Asia.
Actually, it WAS a UK supplied SIM-free phone from my usual supplier, but I cracked the screen after only 6 days.It could very well be that the phone has been imported from Asia....
M-Blue was pretty much a disaster. After being fobbed off with many excuses for late delivery (they claimed a 5-day service) I actually went to their place in Essex to collect it. They hadn't done anything when I got there, but managed to fix it up with a new screen (so they said) within an hour. Didn't discover the Asian thing until I got home and didn't want to waste anymore time, phone calls, emails etc on them. If you Google them, you'll find plenty of others with the same experience. Their HQ was very tatty, but had some nice cars with personal plates outside! Thanks for the CID info.Download an app called CID Getter from Play to find out your CID.
Did this company say they replaced or repaired the phone? I'd be a bit miffed if I got a phone with Asian software returned.
Anyway, glad the factory reset sorted it.
