I figured I would start a thread for Case reviews. Here is the one I got today.

Amazon.com: WIRELESS CENTRAL Brand Matte Snap-On BLACK RUBBERIZED Hard Case Cover For SAMSUNG M950 GALAXY REVERB VIRGIN MOBILE With PRY-Triangle Case Removal Tool [WCJ264]: Cell Phones & Accessories

Overall the case is adequate. The fit is not quite as snug as I would like. Functionally it seems to get the job done, but I have a feeling the case is going to break after a drop or 2. I will update accordingly.

The case is not rubbery/grippy. This is actually what I wanted, as trying to pull a silicone/rubber case out of a jeans pocket makes me want to throw it across the room when it finally comes out.

Not a bad case for <$5 shipped. 3.5/5.0 for me

Edit: The wiggle is annoying me, going to be buying another case to see if I can find one that fits better.

Good idea, and thanks for the review. I ordered the white version of yours and am just waiting for it. Not expecting major brand quality, so I'm glad it seems to do the job. Also it's my first white case and I hope it doesn't discolor easily.

Amazon.com: WIRELESS CENTRAL Brand Matte Snap-On WHITE RUBBERIZED Hard Case Cover For SAMSUNG M950 GALAXY REVERB VIRGIN MOBILE With PRY-Triangle Case Removal Tool [WCF981]: Cell Phones & Accessories

I was able to get it for $5.60 shipped, but now it's showing @ $12.

I got my case today. The case that I bought was a CARBON FIBER HARD PHONE COVER CASE FOR VIRGIN MOBILE Samsung GALAXY REVERB M950 on ebay. The item sold out particularly from the seller I bought it from so heres a link to another one just from a different seller:

Samsung Galaxy Reverb Hard Plastic Case Cover Carbon Fiber Design | eBay

I was able to get the case to snap on easily. I haven't dropped my phone with it on so I don't know if it can take a hit. It really feels nice while holding it and it has a nice design. All of the buttons are accessible so no problems there. I give my case 5/5 because I couldn't find a reason to not like it.

Heres another option.
I bought 2 of these.
The case fits the phone perfect, nice and snug. It has a decent rubber coating, not as good as the Body Glove I have on my Optimus, but it does the job. I allready dropped my phone and the case survived once, the case did'nt come apart, no damage so far.
they have a few differant colors and options.
I went with the screen protector, car charger and case.
Not bad for 10.45 with free shipping.
I'll give it a 4.5/5, because nothings perfect.;)

You're right- those skinomis probably provide zero shock protection.

I've dropped my skinomi'd optimus on pavement and had no issues, but that phone is a tank (and has a plastic screen). The reverb seems a lot more delicate.

Yeah I upgraded from an Op V too and am really trying to be careful with the Reverb. I won't do screen protectors anymore though. They make things uglier and it's not nearly as fluid swiping on a plastic film than directly on the glass. I think as long the phone isn't in the same pocket as the keys that it'll be okay.

Well I received:

Amazon.com: Samsung Galaxy Reverb M950 Rubberized Cover - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

Perfect fitting case. It is not grippy, but provides a little more texture than the phone itself. This is exactly what I like about it though! Slides in and out of my jean pocket with out being a PITA.

Large improvement in fit over the first case I reviewed up top.

Same here, just got the white version of that case:

Amazon.com: WIRELESS CENTRAL Brand Matte Snap-On WHITE RUBBERIZED Hard Case Cover For SAMSUNG M950 GALAXY REVERB VIRGIN MOBILE With PRY-Triangle Case Removal Tool [WCF981]: Cell Phones & Accessories

and I like it overall. I wish there was a layer of padding on the inside like my old Body Glove case for the Optimus V for extra shock protection, but I think it should be okay.

I'm not very confident that it'll be 100% okay if I should ever drop it, but I'm way more confident about not actually dropping it and being able to grip it properly when taking it in and out of my pocket, which is something I was worried about before having a case.

Well I went to my local Target, Best Buy, and Radio Shack (VM vendors) looking for a case for the Reverb and they didn't have even one that would fit. It looks like, at least for now, finding a case is an online endeavor only.

Online it seems that primarily there are just two different styles of cases with different branding and prices: one is a plastic/PVC snap on case, available in a wide assortment of colors; and the other is a silicone/rubber case that stretches to fit snugly on the phone. To my eyes and reading the specs these two types of cases are identical: the only thing being different are the colors or the way they choose to describe them. You may want to keep that in mind when making your purchasing decision. I ended up going with the silicone option, and still waiting it's arrival.

I did find one outlier though on Amazon: Amazon.com: Impact-Resistant Hard Shell Case with Stylus for Sprint , Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy Reverb / SPH-M950: Cell Phones & Accessories an impact resistant case of the plastic/PVC variety. Not exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm really looking for something like this: Amazon.com: BLACK EXTREME RUGGED IMPACT ARMOR HYBRID HARD CASE COVER BELT CLIP HOLSTER SAMSUNG GALAXY S III 3 S3: Everything Else

Does anyone know what other Samsung size cases may fit the Reverb?

I just put my ipad in a kickstand case and love it, was thinking of doing the same for my phone.

My phone is currently in one of these:
Amazon.com: For Samsung Galaxy Reverb/SPH-M950 Hard TRANSPARENT Case T-Clear: Everything Else

This case fits snugly, and doesn't make my phone look bulky. It's already showing a scratch on the back -- I think clear cases are the worst for hiding those. I didn't like the amazon seller, Wirester. They cancelled another part of the order with no explanation.

I dropped my phone for the first time yesterday and the white case I bought protected it pretty well. It did fly open in two pieces, but that helped buffer the phone taking any of the shock. No scratches and luckily no cracked screen.

I'm usually not one to drop my phone but I was juggling my dog on a leash and a bag of garbage. No clue why I pulled my phone out at that moment haha.

Okay, folks, I have an awesome Otterbox-like case for my Reverb, with a kickstand. Only trouble is, you must get a different charger, as the plastic collar on the charger that comes with the phone won't fit (too wide). Awesome case! Ads bulk, but I like that because the Reverb is sooo slim and fragile-feeling. :) They have it in black, too. Just search Samsung Reverb kickstand case. They have it in black, white and black, and pink and black. :)
Oh yeah, "They" is eBay. :-D

P.s.- you need a pry tool or credit card to get the inner hard plastic case off once it is on. The case consists of the snap-together hard plastic, then the rubber cover that envelopes it all... Rubber covers over the charge port/headphone opening/SD card opening... Keeps dust/pocket lint from hurting your awesome phone. :p
P.p.s.- It's under ten bucks! ;-)
Learning2, this could be the case for you!

I bought the one with the kickstand too off of eBay. Pretty happy with it. Originally bought a black silicone case, and it fit like a glove...at first...after 3 weeks it was loose at the top and bottom and that was pretty annoying. An eBay search and $10 bucks later I got the one with the kickstand.
It feels good in my hand and feels sturdy. You do need the tool to get it off or some kind of substitute though. You are right about needing a different charger...I upgraded from an Optimus V and that cord fits just fine. Trying to plug in headphones is a little harder but can be done. I contacted the seller, and asked if his vendor had any other colors (such as black/red or black/blue) but no dice...only black/black; white/black; and black/hot pink)...so I went with the black/black one. I am a little afraid that the kickstand is going to break some day...so just be careful. (Made in China after all).

Yeah, I love mine! My Optimus V had its own Otterbox, and I simply can't stand the idea of going around with my charge port all exposed to pocket lint and such. ;-)
I'm careful with my kickstand, too. Agree with you on that, also. :)
I wish they had blue and black...
Oh! I called Otter box and talked to the guy, he said he could put in a request, so, LET'S ALL OF US CALL AND PUT IN REQUESTS TO OUTBOX FOR A CASE FOR THE REVERB! Commuter cases are awesome, great protection. Here's the number for Otterbox-(855) 688-7269 or (970) 493-8446. I called the first number, so you may want to start there. :)
Heck, should we start a thread for people to call and request a case for our Reverbs? If enough requests go through, Otterbox WILL make them... They're great people...
