How many HTC Desire HD owners are planning to get another HTC phone?

I read your post yesterday thinking who knows, but today I got an email off Google telling me my order has been shipped. Looking back on the store the 8gb Nexus are sold out and apparently the 16gb are close to being sold out too!

I've gone from thinking they're being cautious to cunning now. Yesterday morning, I ordered another Nexus 7 for Mrs Presidente's Xmas present and was again told 2 weeks, I woke up this morning to an email telling me it was in transit.

Something tells me they know what they're doing and they know fine well they have stock....

Actually, another option I was looking at was getting the Nokia Lumia 920 for the wife, and taking her Galaxy Nexus.

Disaster....my Nexus was going to be delivered today but because the tracking number Google sent me showed nothing I wasn't around. Spoke to TNT about re-delivery and they can't find my consignment number on the system and the Google tracking number still hasn't changed. There should be someone tomorrow if they deliver PM but knowing my luck they will come AM, just to annoy me more. Seems who's doing the picking and shipping doesn't know their arse from their elbow, and as for TNT don't even get me started about them.

I got there in the end. I spoke to Google after TNT couldn't find my order on their system. Turned out the driver put down the wrong consignment number on the re-delivery card. Anyway now have a Nexus 4 . Just have to get a micro sim now from Vodafone store.

My carrier just announced LTE Plans! My current plan has the same rate as the LTE plan (effectively new plans like mine will be LTE Plans).

The only LTE phone offered is the Sony Xperia V though, and a lower end ZTE.

The Nexus 4 has landed, free at Data Plan 1500 (about US$37 a month) with unlimited data 60 minutes of calls and 120 SMS. The plan covers LTE connectivity but the phone does not. Sony Xperia V is posted at the same plan, with LTE enabled.

I would of voted never again, mainly due to poor battery life and lack of ICS. But looking at the One X+ I'm kind of wavering now. Only thing I'm not sure about is physical size, I don't really want to go any bigger than my DHD but options are limited if I don't go bigger.

You don't really notice it TBH, it's about the same width and only slightly longer. The SGS3 feels much bigger by comparison.

I asked for it , but I just don't know if

A) It's too expensive ( for a phone, of course no , but I've already had aheap of P spent on me , and I'm going on holiday again soon. )

B) I'm "allowed" a new phone...

Well I feel my DHD deserves to be put to rest. Random restarts, bad battery sometimes, occasional times where it won't charge, time where it won't turn on.

Well you'll be pleased to know my DHD has gone to a new home, aka the wife! Still working fine and the little problems I did have like notification lights/soft lights etc are working again all by themselves. Not sure why or how since haven't opened it up.

I am definitely getting the One X +, or HTC 8X, I just like HTC in general. Never really had any big problems with it, that I couldn't solve. HTC Desire HD is basically my first smart phone as well. I love it, so far.

It seems like a lot of DHD users went to the One X, S3 and Nexus, but are any Windows Phones catching your eyes?
