3D launcher for none root users on market!

Haven't seen this posted yet so here it is.
3d launcher 2 for non root users running OTA 2.1. Search for "Clockworkmod Launcher"
Or "launcher 2" on the market. It will cost you but the devs deserve the donate cause it's not an easy task to get a working 3d launcher on droid let alone one that runs good.

Yeah I dont need 3d, I like Helix because of the permanent icon shortcuts you can put on either side of the launcher. Gives me more real estate to put icons on.

never really liked the 3D launcher. was pretty laggy on the droid but not on the nexus one. also the scrolling of the apps sucked on that thing. i think people called it the toilet paper roll.

I downloaded this earlier today and so far it's been great! I havent had any problems with it at all.

I kinda doubt that. cause then it would just be HelixLauncher2, wouldn't it? Its not meant to be like helix at all, its just meant to be a working 2.1 3D launcher

Youre absolutely right, but i just dont see the point in having 2 helix launcher 2's. Its kinda redundant

Yeah, the helix2 launcher doesn't work for droid (unless you're rooted, which most users aren't) so it's not redundant at all for them to create a launcher2 with persistent icons that works on stock droids.

Tried this and it works pretty damn good. It's very fast and works as advertised. Why Verizon/Motorola couldn't do this is beyond me....I guess they were concerned about stability...but this is as fast as stock home.

Why do people like this 3D launcher? It looks horrible where it curves into space. It's gimmicky and adds ZERO functionality. I like Helix because 1) they got rid of that nasty checkerboard/faux carbon fiber, but isn't carbon fiber background to the app drawer and made it black, and 2) which is HUGE, the custom dock around the app drawer icon. But yeah, 3D launcher... silly and ridiculous. It doesn't even look good!

I like the 3D effect, I think it looks cool...but not cool enough to give up Helix with the perma shortcuts on the launcher.

Better than stock, plus is the current 2.1 default (N1 wise anyway)..some people want that.

Yeah, I looked at your avatar and thought, "oh, he's rooted and must've forgot that helix2 is working ONLY because he's on BB v0.9".

FYI, this has to replace your HOME launcher. So if you use Home ++ or another one, you have to choose between this app drawer thing, or your Home ++.

Bought it, and returned it all inside of 5 mins.

Horrible app.

I tried it and I love it. Works perfectly (so far). If it's not working for you, it may be because you didn't clear the widgets and shortcuts from your other launchers. In other words, make sure your stock launcher and any 3rd party home replacements are completely clear (no widgets, no shortcuts, no nothing).

Many moons ago, I rooted and installed custom roms because I wanted all of the cool 2.1 features from the N1. Now, thanks to the official OTA, Helix, and this ClockworkMod Launcher 2 it's like I have FULL 2.1.
