Link to stock VM ROM for SGS2

Is there any news on a clockworkmod recovery for our phone?

The only recovery that works for me is agat recovery. Which seems like CWM. Ive tried CWM touch, it flashed and worked fine. But when I turned off my phone and re-set it, it was gone like I never flashed it... Weird. So I wouldn't try any others until it can be confirmed working.

Excellent! Root is all I really care about since there are no stable ROMS to flash at the current time (i.e., for this specific carrier/phone) and the stock ROM is pretty darn good.

Does anyone know if the JB upgrade from Samsung is going to be made available for the VM S2?

This method of rooting has been around for a while for other carriers, so I suspect it's fairly solid. I'm looking forward to some feedback for those that do this one-click install...

Well, it worked really well when I inadvertently put a stock Sprint rom on my phone when using this method root. And so far it has worked really well going back to stock Virgin Mobile rooted. I used the one to keep my data btw. Didn't take long either.

It works. I rooted mine a couple weeks ago via "one click". I also flashed sprint's 4.1 JB, and back to stock the same way.

How does the "About" screen information compare with the one-click versions?
Is the kernel and build number the same?

I am in the process of pulling some of agats custom(not the repack) kernels apart to compare the ram disks. His custom kernels are close to that of gohkanmorals who makes awesome kernels. Agats custom kernel was based of the fi27 source(latest ics sprint source and the release after fi03) and includes the same recovery as the fi03 repack, cpu and gpu over and under locking, undervolting, more governors, mainline Linux source updates, extweaks app to tune kernel and many more. Then there is the blue kuban kernel that is based of agate and adds more features. I'm gonna look at the init scripts and modules and the overall ramdisk of both of these to se if they word boot on the VM rom. I believe they will and there may be minor issues but everything should work!

Just a warning if anyone gets brave, make sure to flash thing for the epic 4g touch sph-d710 and not the att or international galaxy s2!!!

-What is "the issue with the USB jig being disabled"

-As for the self extractor: I should choose the _Stock_NoData (since I am only trying to remove preloaded apps at the moment)?

-And this:
Android -
Install ZArchiver, then use it to unpack the ODIN OneClick 7zip self-extractor file in this section (long press *-oc-sfx.exe, Open as archive, Odin-OC, select *-OneClick.exe, Extract).
Use
Mobile ODIN to Open File the resulting *-OneClick.exe file. Mobile ODIN issue - modem might not flash consistently. Skip the remaining instructions that are windows ODIN specific (steps 3, 4, 5, 6).

What?? It may as well be in latin. Someone please help me understand. And please tell me if it is not ok that I pasted that text here!
