YouTube not working

Hi Guys,

My YouTube app isn't working, when I click on the video that I want to watch it gives me an error message stating that the video cannot be played. I've searched on the forum and other models have reported similar problems, but as far as I can see this hasn't been discussed specifically for the tattoo (yet!).

I wondered if anyone else has had this problem, and if so if they have been able to resolve it and how?

Go to Application Management and uninstall the app and try a reinstall from the market.

I have gone to apps manager and there is no option to uninstall YouTube. Any ideas?

That's weird, I have a Youtube app listed under Manage Applications, size 2.05 MB, just uninstalled and reinstalled it to make sure that it can be done (though I was pretty sure already!). Please recheck. Give some time for computing the size and all..else you might get the long names like com.android.xxxx etc.

Ok,

I've gone too manage applications, found the only YouTube app listed (284KB). The only options I have are 'clear data' and 'clear cache'. No other options I'm afraid.

I've pressed the 'menu' button and no other options come up.

This is getting frustrating!

Wilksy, I think this a common problem as I can't use the app on my Tattoo either - but YouTube works perfectly on the normal browser.
