Which Class 6?

I can get a SanDisk or a Transcend 8GB MSD Class 6..
The Transcend is slightly cheap so is more appealing BUT this is mainly for A2SD so speed is very important.

Will the Transcend do or should I stick with SanDisk?

I have used SanDisk and whatever brand I found at RadioShack ... both seemed fine.. I think you can always be sure to depend on SanDisk if there is any doubt.

I forgot that Amazon had reviews :p, some guy has responded on the cheaper one saying it is definately Class 6, getting roughly 6MB/s speeds which is good.. I think.
Should I just go for it?

Also: how is A2SD to set up on Hero? Difficult?

I dont know how hard on the Hero ... I am a G1'er.

I orginally did A2SD with a market app.
Now the Cyanogen ROM will do it automatically if it finds an EXT partition on the SD during the Flash process ....(painless)

If you are going to do A2SD i recommend Class 6, Format the SD to FAT32 and the EXT3 (recommended) i suggest an approximate 800MB (more than almost anyone will ever need)

Is A2SD found on the Market? (I cannot find it) or is it a third party APK?
Also can you run widgets from the SD and is it benificial (speed wise)

I bought the Transcend Class 6 16 gb card from amazon (The Sandisk was 100 bucks vs. $64). It is definitely a class 6 card. Works well came fast. I didn't go for the SanDisk since I just spent the 600 bucks on the Unlocked Hero to use on AT&T here in the states. Syncing even with drag and drop is fast. Using a MacBook I drag and dropped my iTunes (about 9 gigs) into the music folder in about 12 minutes probably less. Hope this helps.

Is all of the terminal/extra files stuff on the instructions page needed for the AppsToSD2 method? I assumed the newer tool would do everything?

I would assume so ... but as i said before I used different method.

You will not need terminal if you use the AppsToSD2 from what i could tell ....

But if in doubt ... just go ahead and download it anyway ... you may want to use it in the future...
