So far I am running ok with the update. I saw in the list of updates that there is an Auto Portrait and Sightseeing mode in the camera app. I looked everywhere and can't seem to find them. Am I missing it somewhere or wasn't it included.
Kinda have a weird problem here, seems with the new update every notification/text comes with vibrate and I can't seem to find a setting to turn on/off notification vibrate. Any ideas how to change that now? And no I don't have the ringer turned down to vibrate.

on the Foxfi site, they have always said NOT to update to JB. This is one reason why I have held off on the JB install. I have used FoxFi on the xoom and it has come in handy a time or two.
Agree, your only recourse is to root, or head to xda and find ICS or pay for the hot spot feature..
I did the upgrade last night. Like a fool I didn't research JB's compatibility with FoxFi first. It appears that Sprint has caught up with the Foxfi users. When I start FoxFi now it just fires up the Sprint Hotspot feature in Sense. Anyone know a workaround for this?
Anyone have this issue......answering a call the screen goes completely black, can't see a thing. Its happened several times.....I'm not wild about this new "upgrade" @ all
I'm having the issue too. It was happening to me in the past, then I had an update two months ago and it corrected it. Now it's happeneing again.
I'm also having the issue when playing a voicemail. The screen close black with the exception of the notification bar. I have to close the app to get out of it
I didn't notice till my guy showed me on his but your screens scroll all the way through. He tried to trick me and goes how many screens do you have to the left and right?
I just noticed this as well, which i kinda hate, since i had a wallpaper that went across all the screens. So, i figured i would go get a new wallpaper that was only sized for one screen. I found a nice one that was sized 720 x 1280, and then went to set it as my wallpaper, but they left the wallpaper cropping tool thinking it is resizing for a 1440 x 1280 screen size. I guess no one caught that in testing. You can't use a 720 x 1280 image, you have to select an image that is 1440 x 1280, and then you can only see the center part.
I made a decision a while back to not use 3rd party ROMs, at least for a while anyway. I'm quite happy with the new rooted JB ROM though.. this thing is fantastic!
It sure would be nice if it were as simple as the camera shutter sound file being somewhere where we could simply delete it for silenced camera action w/o any sort of issues as a result.
Yeah, that's the way it's always been. I'm just saying that it would be nice if it were that simple. I just can't believe that something as simple as this can't be user defined due to pressure from the government because of a few perverts. There are COUNTLESS reasons for muting your shutter sound that aren't nefarious and there's no reason we should all be punished because of the acts of a few. Just a frustrating reminder that we aren't as free as we like to think we are.
Since updating to JB yesterday, I have received several text messages from '8737' and the messages are all the same - strings of mostly alpha numeric code. Anything thoughts what this is about.
I have used GO SMS since I got the phone June 2012 and have the "Disable other message notification" checked.
Good thought. I just tested and it comes out in the headphones, so I guess that is one work around. It's a pain if I want to take a photo of a sleeping pet up close and not scare the crap out of them.
Now I can see a company making a small plug(like your super small usb plug for wireless mouse) and marketing it as a camera silencer.. Wait. maybe I need to patent that and give half to marctronixx
I'm upset about FoxFi too I got the latest version and I got the Sprint hotspot thing too. I don't use it much but tonight I am spending the nightat a casino hotel and figured instead of gambling all night I can watch Netflix on the tablet cause there wifi cost. But now it doesn't work but I didn't use it that much anyway to where I am sorry I upgraded to JB cause I love having JB. So I'll live without it. Someone on XDA said there working on a fix in the next update.

I use to take my phone off charge at 430 am every day and it would last till 10pm. Afterthe jb update I cant even get through half a day what gives? I have changed nothing. I haven't installed any new apps just did the updare. I'm pretty disappointed in that regard. With that said though my evo now runs like a kid with ADHD lol
