FL04 question

I'm new to android, so I hope this makes sense. I flashed the rooted version of FL04, but my only issue is that mms doesn't work (the settings reflect the mms setting for sprint rather than boost). I found the boost mobile mms fix in the forums, but currently I only have the stock system recovery which is obviously not capable of installing that unsigned file. I've tried to find my MSL using a variety of techniques so that I could just manually change it to the correct setting, but none of them have worked. Should I flash agats kernel so that I can install that file?

Yea what I do is I have mobile Odin pro, I use that to install agats recovery tar, then I boot to recovery install what you want then flash in the fl04 kernel then reboot phone.that gets rid of the agats recovery .you can also flash agats with PC Odin.but remember to always flash back the fl04 kernel.agats recovery messes with your apps.
