[International / GSM] Nexus going straight into reboot and no list ever appears

I am following the tutorial "How To Root Samsung Galaxy Nexus ( Universal Tutorial Guide )" on "Android Geeks" and all is going well, my phone in now unlocked and I'm am on v4.0.4 (big come down from 4.1), but I can't get to the super user zip file. This is the same problem I had with the tut on "Android advice".They say "keep pressing the Volume Up key till you see the

Sounds like a glitch. Try re flashing Recovery and see if it works then. Are you using CWM?


Also, I recommend using this toolkit for when you do anything to your phone. This tool kit has EVERYTHING in it and it does ALL the work for you. None of this download this or download that and all these weird tricks. The toolkit does it. Just enter the number value for what you want to do and press enter. It's amazing and I seriously feel privileged to be able to have this for our phone because it's only available for certain devices.

That does not sound like a custom recovery to me. Certainly not CWM.

Try flashing it again - fastboot flash recovery..........
