I was about to buy a Samsung Galaxy S3 from the MetroPCS website when I saw a promotional message:

"DON'T FORGET OUR IN-STORE EXCLUSIVE:

Buy any phone and get a second feature phone FREE."

Does that exclusive offer includes Samsung Galaxy S3? Does that mean if I buy a Galaxy S3 from in-store, I will receive a second S3 or another phone free?

Nevermind. I just called the "corporate" store and asked for the details.

I'd get the second phone for free ONLY IF both phones are "new activations" = both phones are for new customers/accounts, and I'd have to activate them in store.

The activation costs $15 per line. If I wanted to established two new accounts, that would be $30 activation fees, extra atop of the price of a Samsung Galaxy 3S. Forget it. I'm not activating anything in a MetroPCS store.

There are no activation fees when your doing a "new activation", there are only Promotion fees that you pay if you decide to get on there promotional plans ex. $25 unlimited talk and text(sms) and $30 4G unlimited talk, text and data(first 250mb at 4glte speeds).

As for the BOGO deal you have to pay for the higher priced phone + plan + plan of the 2nd free phone(feature/nonsmart/nonblackberry phone).
