FIRST STEPS:
Before you begin, your phone should be rooted.
Next we need to install 2nd-init to your phone.
RECOVERY BOOT:
To reboot your phone into Recovery Mode- Run the app "LTE2 2nd-init Recovery"
Your device will immediately reboot. IT MAY FREEZE on the LG Logo. Just press the up or down volume keys to view the recovery screen.
WARNING:
If you want to experiment with this tool, it would be wise to first see the path of those who ruined their phone before you. After rebooting and entering the CWM menu system, AVOID "Reboot Recovery" under the Advanced Menu options. It will factory reset/erase your phone.
CONTROLS:
Recovery Screen Controls:
[HIGH]Vol Up - Move selection up
Vol Down - Move selection down
Power - Choose selection
Back Key - Go back
Home Key - Toggle Internal/External Storage
Quickly double select "reboot system now" to reboot.

BACKING UP:
To perform the backup, you will need at least 1GB of free space on your sdcard. If you have a lot of apps installed or files saved on your internal storage, then the backup may require as much as 6GB to 7GB of space.
RESTORING:
EXTRA HELP:
If you have done something that causes your phone to continuously reboot, then you will need to unbrick your device before you can perform a backup or restore.
Pull out the battery on your phone to power it off. Then follow the unroot/unbrick guide.

- Download the file lte2recovery.apk to your phone
- Next you will want to use a program like Root Explorer to copy the file to the folder /system/app/

- Choose the "backup and restore" option.
- Choose "backup".

- Choose the backup you want to restore.
- Choose "Yes - Restore"
