Help How to delete S Planner entries?

Hi, I have S3 on 4.1.1 (Jellybean?)
only had it a few days
I know this sounds incredibly basic but how to delete S Planner diary items? I've read people say 'click on menu bottom left of screen" or "click on options" and the delete function is there - but I can't see either of those buttons
anyone else had the same problem? thanks

Update: I googled this and found the answer but I'm surprised 12 people had read this and not known the answer! I must say this is not the cleverest system - it doesn't allow you to delete from within the entry, very strange

It works this way from ICS:

Tap the event to open
Tap the options button (lower left corner)
Choose Delete

well yes - sorry but I'm new to the Galaxy - I have 4.1.1 - is this Jellybean
and when you say ICS, does that mean Ice Cream Sandwich?
anyway, with my version of S Planner you can't open the entry and delete it - there is no options button left-hand corner to find the delete button

you have to be in the other view (daily/monthly etc) and 1-click on the entry at the bottom of the page, hold it - then a menu comes up with option to delete

The option button he is referring to is the Menu soft key just left of the Home button.
