Apparently I received the only defective G1 It worked beautifully for the first 4 days, but today the screen faded out to nothing and never returned...I wasn't even able to receive calls. I called CC and went through what little tech support they had for the phone (ie master reset). They are of course replacing it, but because I have the brown model I'm on the back order list, which means I have no phone (my Curve died 2 days after I got the G1) until November 10th because that is the earliest they could guarantee it to arrive. Am I really the only one this has happened to??
P.S. Customer service was awesome as always, one of the big reasons I won't leave T-Mobile.
