Joyn is now available for the Esteem! check it out! you can call with your phone in airplane mode and wifi on. but you cant send or recieve texts via joyn if your phone is in airplane mode.

Kinda yeah. Only it uses YOUR number instead of a different number
It also let's you video call over wifi

yesterday i had my phone in airplane mode all day with wifi on and joyn enabled and my battery lasted twice as long (about) then it normally does (for obvious reasons) and i could still use my phone. just no texting (hope they add that then the app will be great!) the video call part didnt workon my uncles motion but it works great on my esteem!
