Can anyone tell me how I can get to a contact via the keypad or Logs.

In old Android system it was easy - just put in a few letter, up would come the contact and then tap on the contact.

You were then able to look at the info, edit or call.

With the new and 'improved' Android this doesn't seem to be possible. If I go to a contact I can only see one phone number out of many and i can't edit or see other info.

Is there any way to get around this?

Its a pain as sometimes I need to get a cell phone where the landline is only displayed - or edit.

Thanks

what phone do you have?

this is not really an android thing.....it will depend on what phone you have. if you can answer that then i can move you to the appropriate forum with folks who have experience with your phone.
