Hello everyone, I have built CM7 for our A70 from CyanogenMod sources after lots of changes in the device tree
Test round #2 will begin today probably, the build is around 80mb
I won't be flooding this post with features so as to maintain the cleanliness of it
Usually the first build doesn't boot and you might get stuck on the logo, that won't be a problem.
Just get a copy of Android-SDK which is around 358mb from here Android SDK | Android Developers and install it as you may need to run a logcat using that
After the Android-SDK installation, go to your installation dir might be C:/Program Files/Android and shift to the tools folder in it and execute the ddms.bat file in it by double clicking.
Next connect your device using USB and see if the device shows up (Remember, do this as soon as you reboot from recovery so as to collect most of the log)
If your device shows up on it then click on it and In Device tab on the top right, click on Run logcat option.
Before reporting that the device doesn't show on the list first confirm whether it shows on froyo.
The flashing instructions are bit different here
1. Factory reset
2. Format system-->In mounts and storage
3. Format cache
4. Format data
5. Install the cm7 zip
