Hello again!

I have rooted my phone today and want to install this firmware :

SamMobile Firmware Page

It is official and not custom. The reason I decided to use custom is that I am happy enough to have the official firmware - I'm just fed up of waiting for Orange to release their version.

As this is official from Samsung, will it increase my binary counter or anything like that? And as my phone doesn't need to be rooted for this, is it worth un-rooting??

Are there any guides anywhere on how to flash this new firmware?

Im doin exact same as we speak bro.
Is it this one? uploadfromtaptalk1356275943813.jpg
The UK 4.1.2 one?
Is it bloat free. I have 3hours to wait though through a dire hotspot lol

cool.

Just flashed the o2 ROM to my s3 to get a taste of 4.1.2 - loving it!

When I decide to try a new ROM like Omega or BTU, do I just flash the ROM like I did the o2 firmware or do I need to return to stock first?

You can just re-flash BTU or another one. I went from the leaked (which was Middle East) to Polish to BTU no problems.

Some people have odd issues where a factory reset is necessary.

Might be worth anyway - flash BTU, factory wipe - that will give you the least issues down the line ..
