There is a clear film, very thin, that is supposed to be removed after unboxing. Is it still there? It's so thin and clear that *I* didn't know it was there until after I'd had my phone for a while. (In my defense, one of the first things I did was put a cover on it, so I didn't really see the back much :) ).

Hi. Thanks for the response. There is no film. Its not the surface that I am feeling, its almost like underneath the visible kevlar backing. If you put a little bit of pressure as you run your finger over the kevlar, I can feel bumps... lines..

yours isn't like that?

The Kevlar is like a paper thin sheet of plastic *glued* to the back of the phone. That thin film of Kevlar is not the indestructible shield that the advertising hype implies.

On my RAZR MAXX the Kevlar is only glued around the edges and there is a big air bubble under most of the center of the Kevlar.

Yes its normal. Mine feels smooth but when i apply pressure and run my finger across the back I can feel the line. Normal, no worries.

I would describe it as "wavy" more so than bumpy, but I think I see what you're saying. Mine is that way.

Nice. Thank you both for the confirmation. I noticed on the regular Razr that the line isn't there. Had me kind of wondering. Appreciate it.

Please don't be offended but on word comes to mind reading this post....paranoid.
Thanks for the laugh. Happy New Year!!!!!!

The internet doesn't get me offended. Paranoid is thinking I didn't lose my garage. This is me being curious cause I compared it to my regular Razr and wanted to know if it something that was out of the ordinary. But thanks for playing. Happy new year to you.
