When a phone is being developed programmers set up break points and logging to make sure that everything is working as designed. Before it's released to manufacturing the developers remove the debugger calls as they're not required anymore. The development logs were never disabled on the Triumph so you have these log files getting generated and consuming your storage space even though you haven't downloaded or installed anything. If you're not rooted the only way to get rid of them is with a factory reset, obviously this isn't attractive because of losing your files and settings, and now the bad news, this is only temporary because the logs will immediately start being generated again. If you have root then pretty much every custom rom disables the log files from being generated. The upside is that because they left this dev environment intact the phone is practically factory rooted, the Triumph is without a doubt the easiest phone that I've ever rooted. To sum up, if you're stock then factory reset or root your phone and install a custom rom.
