Root [Boost Mobile] [MOD] CTMod ROM n00b'ed (RC2 1/4/13)

Release candidate 2 released 1/4, updated with UOT Kitchen fix for SystemUI.apk from bloodawn.

Just a few additions to the amazing CTMOD Rom:

Swipe to clear
CRT ON effect
Flashlight fix (kernel)
OC Kernel (alien)
Swap enabled
More audio steps
Google services fix
Downloading black on black fix
ICS Fonts
Debranded lock screens

Install Steps:

• Make a backup, this is a release candidate and you may need to go back
• Download and save zip to SD card (BETA)
• Reboot to recovery
• Install zip from SD
• Wipe Cache and Dalvik
• Reboot

I think Ill give it a try Mr Bobo. Something different
And we already know how stable the rom is. So we
shouldn't have any problems with it!! Maybe one of the
existing themes for it will even work!!

I haven't tried CTMod yet, but would definitely be interested in theming it (assuming that I'll be free in the upcoming weeks).

Kind of a noobish question, but are there really any differences between CTMod and N00b? From the screenshots, they seem kind of similar.

They are, Mr. Bobo based his rom off of CTMod.

Could tou make a ct/noob rom to transform the warp into a tablet. As in get rid of dialer and things needed for it to be used as a phone but keep contacts. I have decided to gwt a new phone but keep this for gaming and you and starscream have done the most solid work for this phone in mmy opinion i hope you wouldnt mind takin this on

not having owned a tablet before I am not sure what the difference would be. I don't see a reason you couldn't just use titanium to freeze those apps if that's the only difference... sorry for a lazy answer

Flashed So far so god Re-installing some apps now from play store. Tiny pic, and boat browser updated automatically, instantly. Flashlight works, debranded, alien kernel is jacked.

Just flashed all three of my mercury sound packs. Went through perfect. Changer the clock to blue, hid the am/pm icon. She's runnin solid as a rock Mr. Bobo!!

That would be sick cuz freezing is cool but theyll still be there and i dont know enough to be deleting system apps but if the warp could be turned into a strictly gaming and browsing device im sure itd kick some ass

So are you saying you don't actually use your warp as a phone just internet?

I can remove everything the phone has ( IE. Contacts messaging,drm service) and change the ui to tablet layout.

I did the super wipe, flashed Ctmod and noobed update, synced account and installed antutu. This is what it benched at.

This is the setup I'm sticking with for a while, Needs a theme though. If anyone feels risky, maybe one of the original CTMod themes would work?

go to system/bin/sysinit and system/etc/55swap and give those two files full permissions and reboot, or you can download the zip again (uploading now, same link (dropbox says it should be done in five minutes)) and reflash.

the script has 55Swap instead of 55swap and I forgot sysinit LOL

Your right about the themes, I flashed croy's theme and lost Swipe to clear, but reflashed the new .zip, and all is well.
