Root 4ext recoverie question...

so in some other ROMs it said 4ext require but didn't say anything about twrp. so since I have twrp if I flash a ROM with 4ext requirement would it work?.

...and what if I wanted to switch over ?
what's the right and safe way to do it?.

i've never failed to flash anything in twrp that said to use 4ext.

Of course if you are not s-off then it will likely fail without 4ext

4EXT is recommended for roms that use a custom kernel because of the Smart flash hack which allows s-on users to be able to flash the new kernel without needing a computer and fast boots. Since you're s-off it's a moot point but just a quick heads up, 4EXT and twrp nandroids are not interchangeable with one another.
