4.x isn't made for our phones, someone is working on getting it to work. need to see what version of our softwear you are using. zvd is the most newest. You can find this by going into your settings and than about phone, it will be under sw version it will say MS910ZV_. If you are using zvb or zvc thats probably why you have bugs. Most people have found that [ROM] Number (#2) works the best.

First off, 4.0 is compatible but hasn't been built or ported over.

Rooting the Esteem is one of the easier root methods I've seen. Some phones involve VERY complex steps and can be difficult for you experienced user. Rooting the Esteem is not hard, it really isn't. Most people are scared and they let the fear control them from which they don't pay attention to what they are doing which causes problems.

What I suggest you do is download the latest version of the #2 ROM and put it on your SD card. Boot into recovery and wipe data and cache and flash the ROM. Once it boots up REBOOT it again. Important step.

This should clear up all the bugs you have. You must let the phone settle down as well and let the ROM and programs set in. This can usually take up to 24 hours. During this period the phone might be a little laggy or unstable but nothing serious. It will go away once everything settles into place.

Hope this helps. If you need anything feel free to PM me. Good luck
