On my TELUS phone here in Canada, I see an icon for it when I press and hold the Home button for a second or two.
Or other option is to add the Google search bar on one of the screens.
Is there any other way, as Google now does not have an App icon as such.
I access it via the ''voice search'' icon, it seems to do everything BUT dial a contact. It does have access to my contacts. If I say ''call Lizzy" it searches the net for that term. S-Voice seems to work correctly fwiw.
When using the Voice Search. just make sure you enunciate. The other day I was searching for information on actor Gary Oldman. I must have mumbled his first name or something because it left out the R. Man, I'll never make that mistake again.....
How many times have you tried? Fwiw, Google didn't seem to like "Call Gary Oldman mobile", as I don't have a contact with those 3 names. However, "call Gary Oldman" pulled up his info just fine.
Tried it a bunch of times, it hears me just fine, but isn't acting on the "call" part. S-Voice does it ok, but I really rather use Google. Very strange.
