Root [Boost Mobile] Phone freezing, Please help

So, if anyone has seen my other post they may have read that I am new to this phone, I have a ROM installed, which has made it more responsive, but when I have it locked for about 10 or 20mins it freezes and I cant unlock it... It is really annoying and i miss alot of messages. Can someone please help me with this?? As soon as possible.

Reboot. Backup all apps and files (especially your dialer storage which stores your sms/mms/call history) with titanium backup. Clear dalvik and cache partition and reflash the rom?

I have done that, it was doing this even before i rooted or added rom. I think its only doing it while its charging.

My WARP was doing the 'freeze' thing. I sent it back and when it came back, it no longer
froze. During a call I could not access anything due to lock-ups, couldn't even end a call without battery pull.
My friend has had the WARP for about 10 months and his started to slowly do the 'freeze' and now after anything he is doing, a battery pull is required.
I still wonder what causes that to happen? Both phones were NOT 'rooted'. I had thought mine was due to cracked screen and moisture getting in there as when ZTE sent it back to me with new screen, it no longer froze. Not sure what 'other' repair was done to phone.

I. Wont even try to guess what zte did to the thing. Your best bet is to root it rom it and i can guarantee youll so much happier

What apps are installed? Have you tried a factory data reset (backup first, this wipes your apps and data) try that and run it for a while without adding anything and see if it still locks up

I have a ROM on it and it is rooted, I have noticed it only freezes while locked and charging, If im not charging it, it doesn't freeze while locked, If im charging it, and have it locked for about 10-20mins it freezes, and I have to pull the battery and restart it. It gets pretty annoying. I have also cleared my cache, and dalvik cache.

Xfinity ROM but it was doing this before the rom.

try a different ROM, xfinity was pulled by the dev a couple days ago due to issues (not knocking that ROM at all).

I would recommend my ROM (n00b) as a good starting point to rule out it being software, I have no one reporting this issue. Test the phone after a fresh install before adding any apps etc for a few hours. If the issue goes away then slowly add apps and retest to rule out apps. If you no longer have an issue, my guess would be the kernel that was included in the ROM, I don't know what version of xfinity you had, but if it was before the last beta you had an experimental Kernel that still had some bugs. If it persists, it could be a hardware issue or charger issue (you said it only happens while charging, right?) have you tried charging from a usb port on your computer? It could be something simple like the charger itself, it could also be the battery. To rule out the battery, turn the phone on, connect it to the charger and then remove the battery and see if it still happens (the phone should stay on without the battery as long as it's plugged in).

One other thing to try, put the phone in airplane mode and see if it still happens, it could be one specific radio (wifi/signal/gps/bluetooth) that's causing it. Try turning them all off and see if it happens, maybe the phone overheats or something because of charging and using a certain radio at the same time.

I know this is a lot of thoughts, but hopefully you can narrow it down using some of these ideas.

My phone would freeze and lock up after it went into sleep mode connected/unconnected via usb/charger daily. I had to remove battery to turn the phone back on daily. This is what worked for me:

1. I went to (Settings > WiFi > Advanced > Wi-Fi Sleep policy) and selected Never.

2. Also went to (Settings > Applications > Development) and enabled Stay awake.

After I have made these two adjustments, I haven't had to unplug my battery to start the phone at all. Let me know if this works.

I am using Warped Cream Sandwich with 1.8 OC kernel

That's weird...neither of those two settings should affect the phone freezing.
The wifi setting only prevents the wifi itself from going to sleep while the screen is off and stay awake only keeps the screen on while the phone is plugged in...

I am unsure but once I made those changes I haven't had to remove the battery since. It used to stay black with the red light steady.

Me and my wife have the same phone running the same Rom and Kernel but its only happening on my phone. I am unsure if its a kernel issue.

can you try one of the more up to date ROMs?

n00b or CT would obviously be my choices... I just want to rule out the ROM itself, do a backup and you can go back if it ends up not correcting the issue.
