Access Broken Phone Help!

Hi, I have an lg thrill and i shattered the screen on it. I need to get contacts, pictures, videos, and music off of it. I have no way to use the touch screen but i can still see the screen. I have it plugged into my laptop right now, and it shows that it is plugged in. But, it is not popping up on my laptop so i can view the files on it. I can't remember if i have the usb mass storage mode enabled on my thrill. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have an appointment tommorow and I am needing a phone number ASAP! Please is anyone out there that can help me. Also, I have it connected to my wifi at home, and I already tried opening Network Sharing on my laptop, but my device isn't visible on there. I can see the screen of my phone, and it shows it is connected and plugged into my laptop. It even has the little USB icon at the top of the screen. HELP!!!

P.S. Sorry if I'm not posting this in the right area, I am new to, not only this forum, forums in general. Please help me!

i am really sorry that you are in this situation. but i think that without access to your screen to make selections there is not much you can do, unless you have saved or backed up your phone to the sd card. your contacts get saved and backed up with google. you can even access them on your computer in your gmail account. photos and music are usually saved on your sd card. you can just remove the sd card and if you have a card reader or sd card adapter you can then just insert that into your comuter and transfer the files over that way.
