Best app for iTunes?

Basically what I want to do is to be able to plug my phone into my computer and transfer or sync my songs to my sd card like you would an ipod. Is this possible already? or do I need an app? If so, which app would I need?

i just mount the SD card and drag and drop my music onto the SD card. i have over 2000 songs and a movie and it works just fine.

Does that option pop up when you plug your phone into your computer? My laptop also has a spot to put an sd card in. I can always transfer that way, but its a hassle removing the sd card from phone if I dont have to.

Download doubletwist on your computer. It works great. Just plug in your phone to your computer, mount it, then on doubletwist, click sync all music or sync them individually.

Exactly bro! Theres no need for an app...

Doubletwist, MediaMonkey, SongBird, and iTunes Agent are all programs for your computer that can be used to sync your Eris with your music.

For an Eris running 1.5, in all cases (and this includes the plain vanilla drag-n-drop), you plug the Eris into the computer USB (don't have to take the card out of the phone), go to "Notifications", choose "Mount Card". Now it should show up like any other removable thumb drive, etc. If using one of the software programs, follow their instructions for syncing music. Otherwise just literally drag-n-drop music files to the SD card (perhaps create a folder called Music or some such to make it easier to find them).

It's not difficult. If you search the forums for the various programs, you will find no end of help and advocates. Enjoy!

Doubletwist is working great for me on 10.6. Doubletwist requires 10.5 and above.

ya i know. i need the upgraded software bad

but honestly....downloading another application to do something that simple is pointless in my opinion.

1. mount SD card.
2. drag and drop music.
3. unmount SD card

Great thank you. I also created a new folder called Music. When I went into the music player I can not find my songs I just copied to this new folder. I am still looking around though.

easier than i thought. after the music is on the phone, open up the music app and at the bottom there are icons for artists, albums, playlists, songs, genres, and composers. click playlist and select add new playlist.

no problem. if in the future you want to add movies, the same concept applies. make sure the movie is in mp4 format and just mount the SD card and drop it. movies open from your picture album i think

As long as it is encoded properly then it is very smooth.

surprisingly its pretty awesome. ive had issues with quailty because of compression to mp4 format but once i found a better converter ive been pretty happy. no lag or buffering because the movie is already downloaded. ive completely replaced all other mobile multimedia devices with the eris and im glad i did.

im on a mac and i use tune4mac video converter.
on a PC i believe there is a videroa program specifically for android. i can find it for you and post a link if you are a PC user

they have a version for both mac and PC
i used videora back in the day on my old iPod Video. only issue i had with it was that it was extremly slow. tune4mac converts a file within minutes. not sure how quick this version of videroa is but other than speed its a remarkable program
