I need a note users help...

I'm on day five of owning a DNA and I find myself bored already with it. While I'm still in my 14 days, I'm seriously thinking about trading it in for the Note 2. I've been reading reviews all day and now I just want some confirmation from my trusted community members. Please tell me what you think. I know you'll be biased.

All I Could Say it's a Beast , I love it..

The phone is great, I have not found anything I don't like. Great reception, screen, camera. The size is diff than any phone I have ever owned. For some folks that is a deal breaker, I like it. Go handle it and see what you think. If the size is ok for you, the performance is fantastic.

Thanks, guys. I just watched yet another YouTube review and I'm giddy. It seems like it offers so much... Where as DNA I'm using right now just seems like a phone.

Well that's not possible. If someone exchanges the DNA for the Note 2 they are going to be stuck with the Note 2. Verizon has a 1 return or exchange policy meaning if you get the DNA and then exchange it for the Note 2 you will be stuck with the Note 2. You cannot then return or exchange the Note 2 at all.

No problem. Just wanted you to be aware. To be perfectly honest with you the Note 2 is a beast and outshines the DNA in almost every aspect other than the screen and one handed usability. The screen thing is also a toss up though because the DNA's screen is awesome and clear but the Note 2's 5.5" screen is truly an eye opener as well. With the Note 2 you get the benefits of the S Pen, huge 3100mAh removable battery and an sd card slot. The battery life on the Note 2 is quite amazing. There are some reviewers I know that went to CES (a huge electronics trade show in Las Vegas, just in case you didn't know) and they all used the Note 2 because they knew the battery would last them until they went back to their rooms to get ready for the next day. I can say it will be hard for manufacturers to beat the Note 2.

I guess you decided to make the switch. Congrats! I think you would've been fine sticking with the DNA, but some of the software and hardware advantages the N2 has are hard to ignore.

That said, to enable multi-view/multi-tasking, first go into your settings and make sure that it's activated (or, I'm not sure if it's part of the stock toggles at the top, like the Sprint version, but there might be a quick toggle to activate it there also). Once you have it activated, just hold down the back button to have the tab come up or hide. Easy as that.

Now, before you do anything, I'd highly suggest registering your Note 2. I don't know if they're still having the promotion, but for most of the US Note 2's, people were being issued 50% off coupons (after registering) to purchase Samsung accessories directly from the website. Well worth it for some of the top accessories that Samsung has available for this phone.

There are certain apps that are already compatible, without needing root. In order to edit the bar, just activate the multi-window tab, and click on the "EDIT" button that should show up on the right side of the bar. After you do that, any apps that are already made compatible will show up in the space below. If you have all of the apps on the bar, you should see "Drag and drop here."

Of all the major US carriers, Verizon does seem to be the one that locks down the phones more-so than the others. Why they would prevent gmail and chrome being accessible for multi-window use is puzzling though.

L believe you have to download Chrome from the play store.

It's Verizon. They locked down the apps that you can use in multiview. They locked down a lot of other stuff too.
