NOTE: Non-root. I know this problem has been solved for people with rooted phones.
In case you don't know what I'm talking about, here is the problem:
I have ruled out the cause being anything such as cords or apps or malware. When my phone is plugged in but the battery is full, it will pop up with the message:
Without getting into a discussion of rooting my phone, for the time being does anyone know of a way to make that message permanently go away WITHOUT rooting the phone? If no, I understand. But if yes, please tell me how? Thank you

The problem is that the message constantly pops up. It is very annoying and sometimes even causes my phone to temporarily freeze up. I have already disabled the sound notification, but the text bubble message continues to pop up independently of the sound."Disconnected
Unplug your charger from the outlet to conserve energy."
