Good morning, all. I have a quick question about Swype. I simply love this app, but have one issue that I hope you can help me with. Unless it is in the beginning of a sentence, it never auto capitalizes the letter/word I. The OPTION is there to capitalize it (meaning there is an option above the keyboard when you type i) but it doesn't automatically type "I". Anyone know a fix...other than just stopping my Swyping flow and hitting the proper I. Thanks so much and sorry so wordy for a quick question...the coffee hasn't set in yet.

Look in your Settings --> Language and input --> under Keyboards and input methods, tap the Settings symbol next to Swype --> Preferences

Do you have Auto-capitalization checked?

How about when the keyboard is visible, long-press the mic button --> tap the Settings symbol --> tap Advanced --> Is Auto capitalization checked there?

I know it's for the first letter of a sentence, but it's worth a try.

In Swype, long pressing the mic button doesn't do anything. If I long press the Swype button then the settings pop up. And yes, it is checked there too. I'm so stumped. It just seems like a simple little thing, haha. Thanks for wracking your brain with me, lol.

That's strange, it does on mine.

Oh well, mine has a few little quirks too. It's like phones have different personalities & some just don't wanna play well with others.

Hopefully someone else can figure it out or an update will come & fix it.
