Root [Boost Mobile] How to get FTM with CWM.

I'm new at this, I want to get into FTM mode but every time I try it sends me to CWM.
I want to use the handset software update to get it back to normal.
I am not able to do this without FTM mode.
Any help?

Stock is scary!!!

I remember just rooting (back in April) and keeping stock... not realizing all the good ROM's out there. I think I could still live with stock, just as long as all the bloatware is removed.
