I've rooted my Samsung Galaxy S2X and updated with SuperUser 3.1.3.

Is there anyway for me to change/update this Super User to SuperSU v0.99 ? How can I do that? Do I need to re-flash the SuperSU.zip file again from Recovery?

Reason being SuperSU v0.99 is I'm used to it, I could grant/deny apps from the options.

Thanks.

I'm not sure how you do that. You could install SU 99 but you would also probably have superuser still on there. You might try going to settings >apps>superuser and uninstall updates and then remove the superuser.apk from system/apps.

First I think I would go to the play store and install supersu and just see what happens.

Personally I prefer the Super User app.

It's pretty simple from my experience, what I have done is delete Super User from /System/App/ directory and then go to Google Play and install SuperSU.

Wher can I find "settings >apps>superuser"?
I've tried to install SuperSU and now I've 2 set of Super user (SuperUser and Super SU)

When I tried to delete superuser.apk from /System/App/ directory, I'm getting "file system is read-only". How can I change the permission? I'm using RootExplorer and I can't change permission all this superuser.apk

Look in the top left in root explorer. Press the little button that says mount r/w.

Yes, I could delete the superuser.apk file, Thanks!!

Then I download SuperSU from Google Play and installed it. When performing the update, it failed. Now I do not have a SU access and my Titanium is not working.

Luckily I performed a backup using TWRP earlier and I've restored everything since.

Guess, I'll stick with SuperUser for now. Just that I need to familiarize with it.

Thanks anyway guys for all your help!!! cheers
