Pining for Note3 / 1080p ?

I have had the GN2 for 3 months now ..perfectly happy with it. Like anything though , its natural to wonder what is coming next. Is it not slightly ridiculous that the Note 3 is being spoke of ?

Where do the 6.3 inch rumours come from ? There might well be some truth in them considering the recent 6.1 inch Chinese releases.

I am 'stuck' with the GN2 for another 21 months now. Is anyone thinking of the GN4 this early ? I know its very very early to speculate but the GN3 wont be an option id imagine for most of us.

I suppose any phones times at the top is short lived.

I bought my Note II full price, so if the Note III is a big enough upgrade I'll probably sell it and buy up.

NO WAY would I buy a 6.3" inch phone. Nor do I believe those size rumors.

Am afraid the manufactures will keep on churning out phones all with minor amendments just think of a number GN note 10,11,12 etc iphones 5,6,7,8,whatever everything reaches a saturation point where nothing can be added to a phone in the meantime all these companies are cashing in while they can in the hope people will keep on spending their hard earned cash on these minor changes...don't be fooled

I, too, bought my Note 2 at retail, but if Sammy's thinking of increasing the size, they'll hit a point where the unit ceases to be a "phone/tablet" and just becomes a tablet. I don't want that.

In regards to 1080p, that's a big don't care for me, maybe even a negative. I came from the Rezound and know now that size of the screen matters a bit more than the resolution, especially since I cannot see individual pixels on the Note 2 as it is. Increasing the screen resolution would only lead to reduced battery life due to the additional memory/processing demands and reduced overall performance due to graphical demands.

I hope samsung makes a larger screen phone. The gn2 is still too small for me. I still have room in my pockets for a bigger phone.

I said I wouldn't go any bigger than the S2, looked at the Note 2 and bought it, can't rule anything out tbh

Actually I do have pants that have smaller pockets. I just put the phone in my back pockets. So until a phone comes by and will not fit my back pockets, im opened to any larger device out there.

I'll take a 6 inch 1080p phone. More importantly for me is the on board storage though. I want an actual 64GB option this year.

I want a 6.3 inch phone. The note 2 screen definitely could be bigger.

Its going to require a faster CPU and graphics GPU (and battery drain) to keep a 1080P display refreshed at the same rate as the Note2's current display.

I'm not seeing the need today.

Since most of these new 2013 "Note 2 Killers" lack external SD Card expansion, I've not seen any suitable Note2 replacement just yet!

None of them have S-Pen anyways, nor all of the cool software for it, so I don't see anyone doing anything this cool for awhile.
