Boost mobile question.

You can buy the Samsung Galaxy SII for Boost. You would have to flash the Sprint version which would require you to buy Boost donor phone. Probably not worth the trade off.

IMO the Galaxy SII is overrated for what it is and how much it costs on Boost. Same still with the Htc Evo Design. However, you can find it cheaper on eBay. But if you won't compromise the screen size of your infuse then shelling out the 300$ for the Galaxy is really your only option.

Currently have an Infuse 4G on AT&T. AT&T sucks where I live.
New tower 3 miles from house but not for AT&T. Need Sprint.
Do not want contract, want prepaid... cost less.

Can I buy a Samsung Galaxy SII (Sprint phone) and use with Boost?
If not, what phones are available?

You can buy the Boost S2 and not bother with flashing a Sprint S2. The Boost website, Amazon or many retailers will sell the Boost S2.

HAPPYNEWYEAR13 is no longer valid but its still on sale for $279.99. After tax should come to $302 with free 3 day shipping. I know paying that much is a lot for a phone that came out nearly 17 months ago. But after flashing Sprint's JB rom I won't be changing phones until Sprint/Boost rolls out LTE in my area and the S3 or Note 2 becomes available. Hopefully an official Boost JB OTA update will come out soon. My 2

If you are looking for LTE (4G), Boost does not currently offer LTE but WiMax (kinda 4G) and CDMA (3G) instead.
If you are looking for LTE then just hold your horses. By the end of the first quarter Boost is supposed to announce some LTE handsets. Or so claims the grapevine. But I have no doubts that by the middle of the year I expect some handsets to be available.
