Help 3 moments, all having massive issues after cl14

grrrr... okay so i took our two moments in to the sprint store to get cl14 done a few weeks ago, they did the upgrades and at first seemed to be okay but then they started:

-freezing and locking up all the time.

-some times when the phone rings when you pick it up the phone the screen goes dark and wont come back on. Attempts to use the green button to answer the phone do nothing, so you end up missing thr call.

-often when going into contacts clicking on a name then clicking dial either nothing happens or it goes back to the contacts list, either way it wont let you make a call

-often when waking up the phone after unlocking it either the screen is blank, no wallpaper or icons just a black background and you cant bring up anything with menu, or you just have the background but no icons

-frequent crashing

I took my phone back to sprint right after getting cl14 done because i was still having gps issues and they gave me a new moment with cl14 from the factory and this one is having all these issues as well. This is really frusterating, i have done a few hard resets but that didnt fix it and i have to do about 3-4 powercycles and soft resets a day, it is starting to feel like i am back in my winmo days again. Any ideas?

If you grab the phone by the prox sensor it will go dark. The sensor is near the earpiece speaker. I do this in the car all the time and it drives me nuts.

My phone is doing these exact same things, minus the gps issue...we can't be the only ones. My hubby told me to take it to the store but it's not like I can make it screw up when I want. It only screws up when it's an important call. Very, very frustrating.
Also I have been missing calls...alot. I have run into two people in the last three days that have said they have been trying to call and I don't see a missed call from them.

I've been having all those issues and have been back and forth to the Sprint store multiple times, not to mention the time wasted on the phone with customer service. They won't even give me a replacement even though I have insurance. It's so frustrating!!

hopefully the 2.1 software will be offically released soon and it will (hopefully) fix it.

Yeah the problem is when you let go of the sensor the screen won't come back on until the call stops ringing and there is no way to answer the call. Oh well I guess its time to try 2.1

My wife's phone was having the same issue as soon as she got it from Sprint. She took it back and got another one, no issues yet.

Only issue I'm having is the update killed my gps completely. Everything else is a little quirky but fine.

check out my new thread, I can't recieve voicemails whatsoever with visual voicemail and voicemail notifications dont work for that matter (dont even know what they look like at this point), and this is our second Moment in less than 24hrs!! I am newb with Andriod so I am def not using any market apps, this is all out of the box stuff here ..

I can't believe i am gonna be going on my 3rd Moment and i havent even gotten a chance to play with the thing -

Anyone else having voicemail problems, this is crazy, ps sprint tech is stumped as well -

Slide open the keyboard and the screen will turn on (at least it does for me). Then you can answer. It's a pain, but at least you don't miss the call.

That's a good tip thanks, 2.w seems to have fixed most of the issues though
