Going back to the GNex?

Sup everyone,

I upgraded to the Note 2 a few weeks ago and believe it or not...I miss my GNex.

Don't get me wrong, the Note 2 is an excellent phone; but I find myself sorely missing stock android and I'm wondering if I can switch back to my GNex. Can I just swap the sim card out? And if I wanted to, could I just sell my Note 2 if I decided to stick with my GNex?

you can also root and ROM the note 2 and have teh best of both worlds. huge screen (probably no Spen though) and stock android.

He can do this as long as he didn't take the latest OTA that just came out. That OTA fixed the Exynos exploit as well as patched the bootloader unlock exploit. The Exynos exploit isn't as big a deal as the bootloader fix though.

I never left. I played around with the idea of getting a nexus 4 but I hate android 4.2 and the glass back that the 4 has. Overall I believe that the Gnexus looks better than the vast majority of the phones out on the market today. I have mines running aokp 4.1.2 with a couple of apps that i ported from 4.2 and it's perfect for me. I realize that in phone years the hardware is getting a bit dated however it plays all of my favorite games with ease and moves plenty fast for me when I boot it up or run through apps. I guess I'm keeping this phone for the long haul. Only phones currently sparking my interest on the market today is the Oppo Find series; other than that I'll wait for the nexus 5.

I switched to droid RAZR due to signal issues, then to a MAXX for the better battery. I just bought a mint used GNex off of eBay for $160, because I missed it so much. Signal issues seem better. Don't know if I just got a better phone this time, or if the JB radios are better (JB was still a rumor when I switched), or if its the updated PRLs. I did forget just how atrocious the battery life was on the GNex. GNex is much faster then the RAZR both running JB. Now I can switch back and forth though. RAZR MAXX when I need the battery life and the GNex when I want to play with the phone and am close to a charger. LOL. I sold all my GNex accessories when I dumped the phone so I'm missing my extended battery.
