I'm going to help with the new to this world. I take no credit for any of the work that has been done, always remember to thank the creators for there hard work. Remember what you do to your phone is your choice your not being pressured. Thanks to all contributed. Will be updating as more becomes available. I am just compiling the info for people.

Disclaimer: Neither myself or the developers are responsible for any damage you do to your phone. If you are not familiar with these methods, I'd suggest that you do some research elsewhere to better understand before you attempt anything on your device.

Rooting and Recovery:

For the fully updated Marquee you'll need to follow the instructions on this thread --> http://androidforums.com/marquee-al...-your-updated-lg-marquee-phone-step-step.html

Another option for a recovery is Touch Recovery --> Link

Manual PRL Updating:

Here's some others to try these are corporate prls 12121, 12123, and 12124

These works great for me I'm in New Hampshire though so if you use these prls lets us know how it works for you and where your located.

Thank you everyone that made these things possible.
Without these people we wouldn't have available the things we do with this phone. So people REMEMBER TO THANK the people that made it possible.

Thanks for compiling this.

For the JB based ROMS, do we just grab them from the link in the OP you linked to?

Do these ROMs work for for Sprint and Boost Mobile users? I'm actually a Ting user, but I believe Ting users need Sprint based stuff.

I think I read in another thread where you are running the AOKP JB test ROM. Can you elaborate a little on what works/doesn't work or even a link that already mentions this? I do want my camera working fully.

I just rooted my phone and I am currently running Stock Rooted ZVC/ZV4 [Boost and Sprint] ROM. I also just updated my PRL and Profile so I should be good to go.

As I'm a boost user I think most have downloads for both but a few have a single. My best advice would be to read over the threads in each if your interested in them there are fixes for some things. As for the camera ics and jb both don't have cameras unfortunately. For fully functional ROMs you'll probably want to stick with gb roms for that.
