My 4G connection seems to work randomly. I have it disabled for the most part. When I enable it, the 4G icon pops up, but I can't load any websites or use anything that requires data transfer. Sometimes it will work no problem, but other times it doesn't. Can something in my house cause some kind of interference?

My other question is can I not send pictures via txt with 4g/wifi disabled?

I've had no issues with 4g. However, lately I tend to be setting it to EV when I'm in L.A. as that signal is very strong. When I'm home in Westminster, I set it to 1x only, because my house is in a 4g/3g weak spot.

Also, if I'm not mistaken you need to have some kind of data connectivity enabled to send MMS (picture texts)-whether it be Wifi, 1x, 3g or 4g.
